Rekordbox is a professional DJ software. You can import Rekordbox data into Tribe to view and select tracks and playlists based on your organization in Rekordbox.
If you encounter any issue with exporting XML from Rekordbox 6 you can always use Rekordbox 5 instead. Either way the steps should be the same.
Steps
- Download Rekordbox 5
- Export your Rekordbox collection XML file as
some-name.xmlto your Desktop. - Connect your Quest to your PC.
- If using a Mac device, follow the instructions here to download Android File Transfer: How to upload tracks on Quest
- Copy the XML file to:
\Android\data\com.TribeXR.TribeXR\files\Documents\rekordbox - Copy some or all of your Rekordbox music to the Quest Music folder.
- Restart your Tribe session to see your collection in
Open Track List>My Tracks>Rekordbox, see your playlists inPlaylists.

Note: Some Quest 3 users have reported issues with adding .xml files and custom skins to a Quest 3 device
- Copy and paste Documents folder into the same folder, Files
- Rename the original Documents folder to Archive
- Rename Documents - Copy to Documents
- Add your .xml file into that new Documents/Rekordbox folder..
Using Rekordbox Cloud and Dropbox
Users can now grab Rekordbox XML data and tracks completely wirelessly through Dropbox.
Instructions:
Export your Rekordbox collection xml as rekordbox.xml and place it in your Dropbox under the /rekordbox folder. If you use Rekordbox cloud sync with Dropbox, Tribe will automatically find your uploaded Rekordbox track collection in Dropbox.
