Understanding the Horizon
In Tribe XR, eye level appears lower than expected.
Visual elements may appear higher than you designed them.
Tip
Place important visuals slightly lower than normal.
This helps them appear correctly positioned in VR.
Designing the Back Wall
The back wall can feel larger than expected.
Graphics should be smaller than you think.
Large graphics may feel overwhelming in VR.
Adding Text or Logos
Text cannot cross the sphere seam.
If it does, the text will split behind the user.
Correct Method
Duplicate the text.
Place:
- Half on the left side
- Half on the right side
This makes the text align correctly in VR.
Advanced Editing
Using a Sphere Template
Advanced environments often use a sphere template.
This helps you see how visuals wrap around the sphere.
Freeform Warp Tools
Image editing software like Photoshop can reshape visuals.
Example tool:
Transform → WarpThis allows you to:
- bend graphics
- reposition visuals
- adjust horizon placement
💡 Expect some experimentation.Small adjustments make a big difference in VR.
Testing Your Environment
Always test your design inside Tribe XR.
What looks correct on a monitor may feel very different in VR.
Adjust as needed.
